How Contributions Pay for Services

Since most contributions for sponsorship of children are in the form of pre-payments for anticipated services to be received during the following 12 months, the Caring Program maintains an interest-bearing operating account into which these contributions are deposited.

All contributions received for sponsorships are reserved for payment of healthcare provided for children enrolled in the Caring Program. Those providing sponsorships are health providers, businesses, civic and religious organizations, employee groups, foundations, individuals and Blue Cross matching funds.

"Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them." — Richard L. Evens
